The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character - that is the goal of true education.

My son (G.B.) and I were so grateful to find Inspiring Young Minds (IYM) - when he was in the fourth grade-during an internet search for boarding school placement organizations. We had been searching for the "right" organization to assist us in smoothly maneuvering the boarding school process. While exciting, the boarding school admissions process can also be daunting and overwhelming, especially for families who are new to the process. IYM President/Founder Mark Cheong and the other IYM board members are dedicated, personable, and work closely with families to identify, apply to, then select boarding schools that fit both what the child wants and needs from a boarding school experience. It helps that they themselves have been through the boarding school admissions process with their own children over the years and can therefore provide new parents like me with unique insights into what boarding schools are looking for in a prospective student and what the student and their family should be looking for in a prospective boarding school - the right fit is essential. My son started with IYM at the Junior Boarding School admissions level (6th grade) and as a result he and I will also be guided and supported by Inspiring Young Minds through the Secondary School admissions process. It has truly been a pleasure to be associated with this "top-notch" educational organization. It was the right fit for our family.
Sincerely,
Jessica Ingram-Bellamy, MS
